QuakeView allows you to monitor worldwide earthquake events as they happen. The latest earthquake event data from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) can be downloaded manually or automatically and displayed in an easy to read format. Filter and sort events by time, magnitude and distance from your location. Locate earthquakes on an interactive map display. QuakeView can also download events in the background, update the Start screen tile with information about the most recent earthquakes and send toast notifications for significant magnitude events every 15 minutes. You can share event data with other apps such as Mail and Twitter.
The app is offered as a free, fully functional 7 day trial. After the trial has expired, the data will no longer update.
